Wonderland is a multimedia project that explores the relationship between commodity, nostalgia and family. Reflecting on the impact of Paramount Canada’s Wonderland, the largest theme park in Canada, the project reveals how Wonderland’s design influenced its visitors, and shaped their identity. This unique look at the theme park phenomenon is comprised of an original song, personal essay, archival photos, and scale replica of Wonderland re-created only from memory within the early PC simulation game RollerCoaster Tycoon.
